Post-screening Q&A panel discussion featuring Suzy Cop, Executive Director of IRC Texas, Elena Korbut, Community Engagement Leader at Interfaith Ministries of Greater Houston and Dayana Halawo, resettled Syrian refugee

The World Affairs Council of Greater Houston will screen the documentary This Is Home: A Refugee Story on January 23 at 7pm. Registration for this event will begin at 6:30pm. This Sundance award-winning film puts a human face on the global refugee crisis by providing an intimate portrait of four Syrian refugee families arriving in the US and struggling to find their footing.

After the viewing of the documentary, there will be a question-and-answer period with Suzy Cop, Executive Director of IRC Texas, Elena Korbut, Community Engagement Leader at Interfaith Ministries of Greater Houston and Dayana Halawo, resettled Syrian refugee starting at 8:45pm.
