Global Peace Film Festival presents Racing to Zero

Wednesday, September 30, 8:30pm
Premiere Cinemas 2, Orlando, Florida
Tickets: $8

Three years ago, San Francisco’s Mayor pledged to achieve zero waste by 2020. RACING TO ZERO tracks the city’s waste stream diversion tactics. It also examines our society’s garbage practices in terms of consumption, preparation, use and production, and discovers some amazing solutions in San Francisco, which is successfully taking the necessary steps to achieve the goal of zero waste. Cities all over the United States have instituted zero-waste policies of their own, and it is through these mandates that we are challenged to think differently about not only how we handle our garbage, but what it can become.
