Global Education Center is excited to be a Screening Partner of the 2018-2019 Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Filmmakers, a film series that brings the best of new independent film to communities across the South. The documentary This Is Home will conclude the Global Education Center's series on April 13 at 4:30pm.

This Is Home is a Sundance award-winning film that puts a human face on the global refugee crisis by providing an intimate portrait of four Syrian refugee families arriving in the US and struggling to find their footing.

After the viewing of the documentary, there will be a question-and-answer period with the filmmaker.

This program is made possible with support from South Arts, an affiliate of National Endowment for the Arts, as well as Tennessee Arts Commission and Metro Nashville Office of Arts and Culture.
