In English In honor of America Recycles Day, the City of Modesto and Stanislaus County are partnering together to show this inspirational film at no charge.  Racing to Zero is a quick-moving, upbeat film that documents what San Francisco is doing to find new and creative solutions to the global problem of waste. In order to reach zero waste, the filmmakers assert that we need to change our relationship to garbage and view the things we discard as a resources rather than waste. America Recycles Day, celebrated on Nov. 15 every year, is dedicated to promoting the social, environmental and economic benefits of recycling and to encourage more people to join the movement to create a better natural environment. Since the first ARD in 1997, ARD has helped millions of Americans become better informed about the importance of recycles and buying products made from recycled materials. Bring your friends and family to see this important film.
