MoRUS invites you to the 4th edition of its annual Film Festival, around the theme "People for the Planet". This series of short films and documentaries will pay homage to community efforts around the country and around the world to preserve and improve our environment. We host outdoor screenings in Community Gardens to support community development and to disseminate information about the importance of and special nature of the gardens in the Lower East Side. 

Dates, times and locations for "People for the Planet" are as follows:

August 18th, 8.30 pm, 6B Community Garden: Racing To Zero

August 19th, 8.30 pm, Orchard Alley: Racing Extinction

August 20th, location to be confirmed: Inhabit, a permaculture perspective + Unbroken ground

August 21st, La Plaza Cultural: Bringing It Home
